I do indeed
Will whim:
Accomplish nothing
More and more,
By and by.
This place, more
Calmness in the face
Than all the stars
By my bedside.
All the time
The signs were there -
Activities of daily living,
Of life and death,
A life lived
Long after
Day is done.
